Job Title : Cloud Security Architect
Full Time with Base salary plus benefits
Remote - USA
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our innovative cloud services team. This position is 100% remote and will focus on cloud security architecture and design across a multi-account multi-environment enterprise cloud offering. The cloud architect will work as part of an enterprise cloud services team and will utilize knowledge of cloud security, cloud technologies, and current cloud trends to develop enterprise solutions. The cloud architect's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Design and implement security solutions for cloud infrastructures across various platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Identify and develop and security policies, procedures, and guidelines for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate security best practices.
- Identify and address security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats in the cloud environment
- Perform cloud risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Create and maintain documentation for security architecture, incident response plans, and compliance audits.
- Design cloud architecture to meet Federal Government security mandates and directives (e.g. OMB, CISA, HIPAA)
- Design automated cloud security controls and real-time monitoring solutions to detect and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in leading the team / organization with establishing or evolving cloud best practices
- Effectively communicate complicated cloud reports to leadership and IT partners
- Staying current with emerging trends and advancements in cloud technologies and platforms.
