Camp Counselor - Day Camp

Join Our Team as a Summer Camp Counselor!

Are you passionate about working with children in a dynamic outdoor setting? Look no further! Our day camp in Roslyn, NY is currently seeking dedicated counselors for the upcoming summer 2025 season. This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young campers while enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding summer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of 16-20 campers, aged 3 to 13, alongside fellow counselors.
• Foster a positive and engaging environment by modeling and encouraging good behavior.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any situations that may arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of campers.
• Encourage active participation in a variety of camp activities, fostering a sense of fun and camaraderie among campers.

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and energetic individuals who are passionate about working with children.
• Ability to commit to the camp schedule from June 39th to August 22nd, 2025, Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:00 pm.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with fellow counselors and camp staff.
• Prior experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,350.00 - $2,500.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

• Roslyn Heights, NY 11577: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
