What are the responsibilities and job description for the GUIDANCE COUNSELOR MIDDLE SCHOOL position at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School?
Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Middle School Guidance Counselor (part-time or full-time), serving Grades 5 through 8.
The Guidance Counselor will provide personal counseling for students experiencing behavioral or personal difficulties. The Guidance Counselor will also support and assist with communication to students and families regarding social and emotional concerns. Confidentiality and security of school records is required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Secondary School Guidance and Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Pastoral/Psychological
- Counseling Certification in guidance and counseling at the secondary school level or comparable credential.
