The Children’s Mobile Crisis Team Services (CMCTS) Mobile Crisis Worker will support children, youth and families receiving services in the CMCT program by participating in the assessment process, with providing crisis intervention (in person and by phone as needed); assisting with completing the Crisis Stabilization Plan; providing case coordination with crisis and behavioral health services; providing ongoing assessment for risk and the possible need for CRC intervention; and communicating with CRC staff and making referrals for clinically appropriate services The Mobile Crisis Worker is supervised by the Clinical Supervisor.
This position is full time position, M-F, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major coursework in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, nursing, counseling, education or related field. At least two-years experience providing behavioral interventions and case management to children and youth in a mental health/child welfare setting is preferred. Training in crisis de-escalation and management is preferred. Training in trauma-informed care is preferred. Training in Crisis Stabilization and De-escalation techniques is preferred.
