Bethany Athletic Club, a premier athletic club in Portland’s west side seeks a Maintenance Assistant to join the Maintenance team! The successful candidate will create and maintain a premier club that provides an excellent recreational and social experience for the entire family.
Schedule: 40 hours a week--Ideally M-F on-call duties
Shift: FT
Drivers License Required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assists the General Manager in the daily activities involved in the maintenance of the athletic club, equipment and supplies
- Assists in the coordination of special projects
- Performing general maintenance and arranging for routine and preventative maintenance throughout the property
- Complies with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Assists in maintaining overall cleanliness and general up keep of the facility
- Performs tasks that includes painting, plumbing, wall repair and electrical work
- Maintains an organized maintenance shop and storage area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of facilities maintenance preferred
- Possesses basic knowledge and skills to perform general maintenance and repairs to plumbing, painting, wall repair and electrical work.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools preferred
- CPO certification is a plus
