We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. Your duties will include performing industrial cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained, and assisting with facilities maintenance.
```Responsibilities```
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement and minor repairs
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are cleaned in a timely manner
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
