Job Description: Dining Room Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Dining Room Manager to oversee all aspects of dining and room service within multiple locations and catered events on property. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of server efficiency, excellent customer service, and hospitality while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all dining room areas. As the Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for creating schedules, managing department needs, and resolving resident problems to increase satisfaction. Collaboration with the Director of Dining Services to plan and execute events is essential for success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead dining operations daily, stepping in as the Director of Dining Services when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless dining experiences for residents and guests.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in all dining room areas.
- Create and manage schedules to meet department needs while staying within budget.
- Address resident problems effectively and efficiently to enhance satisfaction levels.
- Plan and execute events in coordination with the Director of Dining Services.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of service.
- Proficiency in event planning and execution.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations in a dining environment.
- Strong computer skills a MUST.

Requirements:PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Associate’s degree in culinary or food service management from four-year college, university or trade school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the capacity of club manager, kitchen manager, catering or banquet manager.
· Senior living and/or fining dining experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.
· Ability to lift 25-30 pounds or more on occasion may be required.
· This position may require standing, or sitting, for long periods of time and occasionally require working in hard-to-reach areas.
Salary : $65,000 - $73,000
