Dietary Aide:
Great Opportunity!! Bethany Gardens Skilled Nursing Facility, Rome N.Y. is currently seeking Dietary Aides, part time positions available. Schedule may include rotating of weekends, evening shifts or Legal Holiday’s. This is an opportunity to work in a great environment where you can make enhance the quality of life on a daily basis of our wonderful residents!
- Must ba able to work days and Evenings
- We are willing to train candidates who are eager & motivated to learn.
- Salary & benefits are based upon experience.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
Position includes but not limited to the following duties:
- Working on Tray-Line
- Preparing of foods for meals & other various events
- Preparing snacks & nourishments for residents according to diet
- Washing of Dishes, pots & pans
- Sweeping & Mopping of floors
- Properly rotating Stock Room items
- Assisting with deliveries as needed
- Ensuring fridge & freezer is appropriately stocked
- Disposing of trash within Facility Guidelines
- Ensure a clean & orderly environment
Requirements:
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not a must
- Good communication skills
- Being alert & able to identify issues that may arise
- Appropriate Dress
- Establish & maintain a high level for customer-service
