Bethany Medical, an established Independent Multi-Specialty Practice located in Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Jamestown, Kernersville, North Wilkesboro, and Mt. Airy is seeking Full or Part-Time Echo Technicians to join our Team! You will be working closely with our Providers and patients to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction.
The Selected Full-Time Echocardiogram Technologist will:
Bethany Medical (BM) is a multi-specialty medical practice serving the triad and surrounding communities since 1987. BM is open seven days a week, with multiple convenient locations in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Jamestown, North Wilkesboro, and Mt. Airy, North Carolina. Bethany Medical offers Urgent Care, Primary Care, Pain Management, diagnostic testing, and specialty care services onsite. Bethany Medical is staffed with board-certified Physicians and Advanced Clinical Providers representing eight medical specialties. Bethany providers are known for prompt and personalized care. BM employs over 60 providers and over 530 full and part-time employees. Airy is seeking Full or Part-Time Echo Technicians to join our Team! You will be working closely with our Providers and patients to ensure quality patient care and satisfaction.
The Selected Full-Time Echocardiogram Technologist will:
- Perform ultrasonic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the Provider.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis.
- Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures.
- Ensure that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfied patient identification obtained before conducting said actions.
- Performs all procedures according to departmental protocol.
- Will need to work independently
- Dedicated to serving Bethany Medical’s patients with a professional and respectful demeanor
- Perform echocardiography, doppler, and color flow on patients
- Assist the physician in cardiac echo stress testing
- Maintain the GE equipment necessary for all echo testing
- Order supplies needed for his/her area
- Performs other duties as assigned
- A.S. degree in Echocardiography or a related field
- ARRT, ARDMS, and/or CCI Registration or registry available
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is preferred
- Current BLS required, ACLS preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical setting performing ultrasounds is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse patient population
- Professional aptitude, presentation, and demeanor
