Schedule : 6.30am to 2.30pm Thursday to Monday
Pay: $19.50 per hour

Position Responsibilities:
The Dietary Aide will work on our tray line for food production. This position builds the food trays and check them a 3rd time before they are given to the residents. Full training will be provided but some kitchen experience is desirable, preferably in the assisted living environment. This person should be energetic, a good communicator and team player to join a progressive culinary team that showcases the ability to produce quality food in an assisted living environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and understand measurements and conversions
- Experience in a kitchen environment
- Experience in an assisted living facility kitchen advantageous.
- Ability to plan, organize and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
- Requires empathy and compassion for the elderly.
