Web Press (machine) Operator - Part Time

Working with Christian publishers, Bethany Press provides solutions for book production, printing, binding, and warehousing. We produce millions of life-changing books, and we are looking for self-managed, self-motivated, creators who want to be a part of this accelerating business.

Part-time flexible hours - minimum 8 hour shifts

Rate: $22.50 - $27.50 an hour shifts between the hours of 6pm and 6am earn an additional night shift differential of $1.50 an hour

• Operate web press to routinely meet or exceed scheduled volume
• Operate the press to consistently produce the highest quality printed product
• Keep waste and spoilage within acceptable levels
• Communicate as necessary to facilitate the goals of the team
• Manage time and duties according to departmental procedures
• Lead the assigned helpers in meeting acceptable levels of quality and productivity
• Follow safety procedures and practices
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA requirements for your work area

• Exposed to noise that requires use of hearing protection.
• Exposed to potential mechanical hazards, which require proper safety procedures.
• Exposed to volatile organic compounds and other chemicals used in the printing process, which require use of personal protective equipment.

The estimated starting pay range for this role is a good faith estimate is based upon Bethany Press' typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefit-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
