Position description:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for a caseload of residents from admission to dismissal on assigned nursing unit. Coordinates and supervises the nursing care delivered by the nursing assistants working under Team Leader’s supervision.
Full time – Multiple shifts available
- Day shift 7:00 am - 7:30 pm (3 12's)
- Evening shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (5 8's)
- Night shift 11:00 pm – 7:30 am (5 8's)
LPN Compensation: $30.00 - 34.00 / hour - Based on experience and schedule
RN Compensation: $37.00 - 44.00 / hour - Based on experience and schedule
Duties:
- Administers and charts medications and treatments and adheres to all Pharmacy procedures.
- Makes rounds on each resident
- Assesses for significant changes in residents’ condition and when applicable update acute intervention care plan accordingly.
- Supervises nursing assistants on the unit; evaluates work performance in terms of resident care, completing documentation, staff relations, efficiency of service, and intervenes when needed.
- Initiates and completes all necessary documentation and reporting.
- Communicates all order and status changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintains a safe environment for residents and employees while exhibiting a positive attitude towards all customers.
- Initiates and maintains individual care plans based upon comprehensive assessment.
- Responsible for completing nursing notes according to Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and Bethany Village charting guidelines.
Qualifications: Due to our federal funding, we are a drug free workplace (including marijuana). A pre-employment drug screen is required for all positions.
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years long-term care experience within your license.
