POSITION: Housekeeper/Cleaner at our Church Campus

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The primary role of this position is to handle the housekeeping and cleaning at the Bethel Church Campus

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

> At the start of the shift, review scheduled events for the week and make sure that the cleaning is completed

> Perform work as detailed on the daily checklist

> Clean and disinfect rest rooms, breakrooms, classrooms, Cafe Gallery

> Pick up and empty trash containers in offices and public spaces

> Spray down and clean glass on the main entry doors

> Dust woodwork, trim, doorframes, bookshelves etc.

> Organize and refill envelopes in the main sanctuary

> Assist in maintaining adequate stocks of all cleaning supplies

> Perform related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS:

> A strong personal relationship with Jesus, the body of Christ, & God’s work in the world

> Working knowledge of/and skilled in the use of the appropriate materials and/or tools and equipment to do a particular job

> Ability to understand and communicate in order to convey information effectively

> Self -starter and the ability to see areas that need to be cleaned

> Attention to detail

> There may be extended periods of standing, stooping, bending, walking, traversing ladders

> Exposure to cleaning materials, paints and / or solvents

> Wear common protective or safety equipment

HOURS:

Part Time / Non-Exempt / 20 – 25 hours per week

Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 8am – 430pm

Additional hours available weekends and evenings for special events

PAY RANGE:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
