Bethel Store Associate

The store associate plays a pivotal role in our store team by serving our customers with excellence, upholding a beautiful environment within the store, and being an extension of our ministry in selling books, apparel, and other products that resource others and spread the good news of the kingdom of God. As an associate, you will work on the shop floor as part of a team of other associates in coordinated shifts and report to our store manager.

Weekly Hours: 20 to 29 hours

Salary Range: $17,160 to $24,882 per year

Status: Part-Time Non-Exempt

Requirements

• Engage proactively with customers throughout the store by identifying their needs through insightful questions and offering tailored product suggestions.
• Exhibit outstanding knowledge of products and assist the Store Team with various projects.
• Accurately and efficiently handle customer transactions at the Point of Sale (POS) or Mobile Register, ensuring a pleasant checkout experience.
• Effectively manage time to swiftly complete floor sets, merchandising, replenishment, and other tasks.
• Prepare for each shift by being knowledgeable about sales, promotions, new products, and updated procedures.
• Recover and restock merchandise to ensure it is available while keeping the sales floor in excellent condition.
• Promote awareness of loss prevention strategies.
• Foster a positive work environment by embodying and promoting Bethel's core values.
• Assist the Fulfillment Team in receiving merchandise from the Warehouse when necessary.
