Encounter High is on the lookout for a passionate and committed Part-Time Teacher & Administrative
Support for the academic year 2025-2026. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with teenagers,
has a passion for mentoring young people, and is eager to guide the next generation. You will engage with high
school students in grades 9 through 12, providing you with the chance to make a profound difference in their lives.
We seek an energetic individual who can embody both a sense of joy and playfulness when interacting with
students while also serving as a responsible and mature role model.
Key Responsibilities:
-Teach engaging, student-centered lessons to high school students (grades 9–12) Monday through Thursday.
-Assist with planning and participating in Friday adventures and outreach activities with students.
-Develop and write curriculum tailored to student needs (all curriculum at Encounter High is custom-built).
-Provide administrative support, contributing to the organization and smooth operation of the program (if applying for the administrative role as well).
-Work collaboratively as part of a highly team-oriented environment.
-Foster an atmosphere where students can encounter God, discover their calling, and learn
-to courageously impact the world as lifelong disciples of Jesus.
-Adapt to a fast-moving, evolving program that requires flexibility and creativity.
-Help build and shape the program alongside the rest of the team, as Encounter High continues to grow.
Position Details:
-Schedule: Monday to Friday (Teaching occurs from Monday to Thursday; Adventures & Outreach take place on Fridays).
-Status: Available as either part-time or full-time. Candidates have the option to concentrate exclusively on teaching, or those who are interested may have the opportunity to take on administrative responsibilities, potentially transitioning into a full-time role.
-Compensation: Determined by experience and the specific responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications & Skills:
-A deep love for mentoring and discipling high school students.

-Ability to write and develop curriculum based on student needs.
-A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
-A heart for adventure, outreach, and experiential learning outside the classroom.
-Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate the unique and evolving nature of the
program.
-A passion for seeing students grow spiritually, academically, and in their personal callings.
-Preferred: A teaching degree and teaching experience.
-Open to: Candidates with a background in theology/Bible who have experience working with
teenagers and building lessons.
