Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher - CTE Middle School STEM located in Tacoma, WA. The Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing STEM-based curricula, preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans, managing classroom environments, and assessing student performance. The Teacher will also participate in professional development, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate with parents and guardians.
Qualifications
•Valid and appropriate certificate and endorsements for Washington State required.
•Hold Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certification or be certifiable in STEM

- Current Math or Science teachers with three (3) or more years of teaching can use their teacher experience to become conditional certificated in CTE for STEM.
- Lesson Planning, Curriculum Development, and Student Assessment skills
- Teaching and Training experience
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Passion for Education and STEM subjects
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM Field, or related area
- Teaching Certification appropriate for middle school level
- Experience with classroom technology and digital learning tools is a plus
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
