- Previous experience as a secondary visual arts teacher preferred.

- Training/experience in motivating students of all abilities.

- Experience in the use of digital technology in the visual arts classroom, or a strong desire to learn.
- Desire and willingness to continue to learn and pursue professional growth opportunities.
- Interest in supervising and/or collaborating on extracurricular activities.
