Job Summary
:
This position will support the smooth and efficient operations of the Business Office. This role will be responsible for data entry and reconciliations for various accounting functions and a variety of administrative and operational support duties.
Responsibilities
:
Bookkeeping Support - 60%
- Assist with data entry and reconciliations in an accounting software.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain financial records and support the accounting team as needed.
- Posts student check payments to student accounts.
- Submission of Journal Entries as needed.
- Review and reconcile select accounts.
- Maintains organization of reconciliation backup.
Administrative Duties - 20%
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate office maintenance needs.
- Receive and distribute work orders to the appropriate personnel.
Operational Support - 20%
- Process department mail and distribute items accordingly.
- Coordinate office schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Assist with office policies, procedures, and organization.
- Support internal communication and documentation.
- Manage and purchase general office supplies and annual tax forms.
- Update office website pages, policies, and desk guide.
Required Skills
:- Must be organized.

- Must be able to manage time efficiently.
- Must be able to handle constant interruptions.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Working knowledge of an Accounting Software.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
No prior experience required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
