Job Summary
Assist in the preparation and revision of financial aid awards, and provide financial aid counseling for students and their families. Aids in loan processing, counseling and loan program management services.
Responsibilities
1.Loan Processing, Certification & Student Counseling Support - 40%
- Processes and transmits federal and private loan certifications.
- Assists with providing counseling services for students and families with questions related to parent and student loans.
2.Prepares financial aid offers and revisions, counsel's students and parents regarding financial aid matters - 30%
3.Financial Aid Guest Reception & Appointment Coordination - 15%
4.Assists with verification of financial aid records - 10%
5.Stays current on financial aid regulatory requirements - 5%
Required Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of work experience.
Education
Associate's Degree.

Work Environment :
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop and / or laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Expected Hours of Work :
Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position.
