What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post-Baccalaureate Nursing Adjunct Clinical Faculty position at Bethel University?
Job Summary
Adjunct instructor teaching for nursing clinical in one or more specialty settings for the Post-Baccalaureate BSN program. Current teaching opportunities in adult medical-surgical andpediatric/adult mental health are available for Fall 2025. Future openings anticipated infundamentals, pediatrics, maternity, and public health.
Responsibilities
- Teaching in clinical specialty settings, as qualified.
- Opportunities for teaching in the nursing skills and simulation labs are available.
- Evaluation of students in clinical and/or laboratory settings, including assignment grading.
- Collaboration with a teaching team within the course.

Experience
- A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in primary specialty is necessary; clinical experience in an additional nursing specialty is welcome.
- Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required; master’s degree or higher is preferred. A clinical focus with recent practice in specialty setting is necessary.
Current Minnesota RN licensure or eligibility required.

Multiple adjunct teaching positions are available starting August 18, 2025. Applications will beaccepted until the positions are filled.
Compensation based on delivery method as follows:
Online Undergraduate - $1000/credit hour
Hybrid or Face to Face Undergraduate -$1250/credit hour
Online Graduate School/Seminary - $1250/credit hour
Hybrid or Face to Face Graduate School/Seminary - $1500/credit hour
