Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Student Success Coordinator to support our Student Success team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This role will be crucial in managing various administrative tasks, student outreach, and system maintenance to ensure smooth operations and enhanced student support.
The primary objective of the Student Success Coordinator is to enhance student engagement, support the team and university's effectiveness, and streamline administrative processes by providing comprehensive coordination and proactive communication across multiple student service domains.
This role will serve as a critical bridge between students, academic advisors, and administrative systems, ensuring timely interventions, accurate record management, and supportive outreach that promotes student retention, successful registration, and overall academic progression.
While the schedule for this role flexible, with some work from home, we do need someone in the office and available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional culturally responsive customer service to students on behalf of the Student Success department.
- Reduce administrative barriers to student success.
- Implement additional support for programs that are faculty advised.
- Assist in the coordination of academic advising services and support the implementation of early alert systems for at-risk students
- Create reports and dashboards for team metrics using Salesforce.
- Manage and improve office systems, processes, and procedures related to student success initiatives.
- Maintain and update department Confluence pages including review and updates of the student handbook.
- Conduct outreach (phone calls, emails, texts) for student engagement touchpoints.
- Assist with commencement-related tasks, including outreach for application deadlines.
- Manage team calendar, including meeting updates, room space changes, and recurring meeting updates.
- Create training videos for new employees on various processes and systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Experience
1 year in customer service in office setting or similar role
Education
H.S. Degree or GED required.
Associate's or 2 year degree or higher preferred.
Additional Information
Part-time, 20 hours per week, 12-months per year position.
Individual must be available to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, along with 1 or 2 additional weekdays.
Ability to successfully work in the office and at home.
