Position: Part-Time Nurse
Location: Bethesda Free Health Clinic, 6912 N Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30a.m.-2:00p.m.
Compensation: Salary based on experience
About Us:
Bethesda Free Health Clinic is a community-focused medical clinic dedicated to providing quality healthcare and basic dental care for the under/uninsured services to our patients. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
· Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs, and medical history documentation.
· Assist physicians and healthcare providers with exams, treatments, and procedures.
· Administer medications as prescribed.
· Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
· Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
· Respond to patient inquiries.
· Qualifications:
· Valid Mississippi nursing license (RN or LPN).
· 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
· BLS certification required.
· Strong communication and patient-care skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Experience with Athena electronic health records (EHR) system is a plus.
