Summary: The Recreation Assistant works directly with residents with such love, acceptance, friendliness and compassion that residents are invited to live their lives in fullness; they implement and lead activity programs based on resident’s interests, strengths and needs; they conduct activities in an atmosphere of warmth, success, encouragement and joy; they work as a team with a positive attitude.
Hours of Work: Full-time or Part-time hours of varying shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday. Typical day shift is 8:00am - 4:30pm. Extra $1.00 per hour on the weekends!

Right now, take advantage of a monthly sign-on bonus of $50 for 12 months for part-time, or $100 for 12 months for full-time!
Preferred Experience and Education: Previous experience with geriatrics or people with disabilities, previous work in long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Bethesda has a great team to teach you the skills for this position. No diploma, degree, or certificate required.
