Will be accountable and responsible for planning, directing, implementing, evaluating various tasks and activities throughout the day within the nursing department. - Develop and implement nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures to maintain a high quality of care amongst residents.
- Determines staffing levels and monitors for adequate provision of nursing care.
- Oversees administrative functions in Nursing Department.
- Develops educational programs within the nursing department to promote staff development.
- Maintains an effective quality assurance program.
- Abide by State/Federal rules and regulations.
