03 / 07 / 2025 Looking for a short-term opportunity to gain valuable employment experience? We have multiple openings for Student Counselors in this summer's Fit For Life Program. The program runs from June to July 2025, offering approximately 6 weeks of temporary work with shifts from 8 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM.
JOB SUMMARY
Supports the site coordinator in handling the day-to-day operation of the Fit for Life program at one middle school site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with the site coordinator to manage breakfast and lunch, attendance, and monitor students.
- Responsible for teaching students movement, games, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Maintains a safe environment on-site and on field trips.
- Assists with data collection for district reports.
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively, both orally and in writing, with the administrative staff, professional and support staff, students, parents, and community.
- Provides backup as needed to other staff members / volunteers in their absence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
PAY RATE : $15.00 per hour
