What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hall Monitor position at Bethlehem Area School District?
Bethlehem Area School District is seeking a full time 10-month Hall Monitor.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in providing a safe and secure school environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors before, during, and after the school day.
- Provides a visible presence and monitors students during lunches at locations designated by administration.
- Must be on-site during the arrival and departure of school buses at predetermined locations.
- Provides a visible presence and assists during large school events, such as assemblies, pep rallies, and other functions.
- Monitors the front desk, ensuring visitors sign in using the Visitor Management System.
- Adheres to the daily schedule created by administration (daily schedules can be subject to change).
- Assists administration in student searches.
- Attends training as determined by Bethlehem Area School District.
- Provides escort process for students, school visitors, sensitive medical situations, and student hospital trips occurring while in school.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent necessary. Must be able to interact with high school students, faculty, staff, and the public in an appropriate, professional, calm and pleasant manner.
Pay Rate: $20.64 per hour as of July 1, 2024
