About the Position:
Liberty High School is seeking a passionate and innovative High School Music Teacher to help lead our music production program and integrate technology into the learning environment. Candidates should have experience teaching music production, guitar, piano, and other general music electives. Candidates should also be comfortable teaching within a music lab setting and be proficient with digital sound production and audio equipment. This position requires collaboration within a dynamic music program, as well as community collaboration with related industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize technology, including Digital Audio Workstations and a Sound Isolation Booth to enhance student learning.
- Design and implement engaging, hands-on lessons that integrate traditional music theory with modern music production techniques.
- Guide students in composing, recording, editing, and producing music across various genres.
- Maintain and oversee music technology equipment, ensuring functionality and accessibility for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that incorporate music technology.
- Support and mentor students in extracurricular music activities, performances, or productions.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in music education and production technology to enhance curriculum development.
Qualifications:
PA Music teaching certification
