Bethlehem Area School District is seeking licensed (RN / LPN) nurses who wish to be considered for substitute associate nurse positions. Substitute associate nurses fill in for employees on a per diem basis throughout all school grade levels within the district. Building hours at the middle school level are 8 : 00-3 : 00 and high-school level 7 : 30-2 : 30. Elementary building hours are 8 : 50-3 : 50.
School Nurse Certification is not required for a substitute nurse position.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, first aid, illnesses and injuries, nutrition, and related areas
- Ability to provide care for ill or injured students
- Ability to convey appropriate medical information to school district staff or medical professionals to ensure a proper maintenance in the school setting
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and students with special needs
Rate : $120.00 per day
