Bethlehem Counseling Associates is a premier counseling practice of the Lehigh Valley for over 30 years. We offer individual, family and couples counseling and medication management to clients looking for mental health support. We offer a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet each client's needs.
We are currently looking for a Practice Support Specialist to join our team! We'd love to meet the right candidate who is reliable, has a passion for the mental health field, enjoys building relationships with clients and coworkers.
This person will work alongside our existing Medical Assistants, Billing/Coding Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist and our Intake Specialist to support our clients, clinicians and our CRNP/PMHNP.

All applicants will need to provide an FBI background clearance and a PA Child Abuse Clearance.

Applicants Should Possess The Following Skills
- Experience working in a HIPAA compliant healthcare setting
- Work in the front office, answering phone calls/emails and managing messages, scheduling and canceling appointments
- Greeting/assisting clients at the front window, collecting copays and running credit cards
- Assist in managing records requests
- Assist clinician's with various needs (consents, paperwork, procedures, etc.)
- Ability to remain flexible in prioritizing the needs of clients and clinicians
- 2 years of experience working in healthcare
- Mental health experience
- Bachelor's in Mental Health Field (Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Health)
- Ability to use Outlook, Teams, and Practice Management Software (EHR)
