Partner Relationship Manager
Reports to: Director of Programs
Overview
The Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) is an integral part of the Business Development and Sales Capture process at Betis. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and managing long-term OEM relationships with both current and prospective partners. The PRM works closely with OEM and distribution partners to establish and track business goals and performance metrics, including sales pipeline depth and revenue generation. The primary objective is to strengthen and expand business development within existing and future Prime Partner relationships. Preference will be given to local DMV candidates, but anyone located within 60 miles of an international airport is strongly encouraged to apply.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain an annual calendar for partner events.
Track OEM partner renewals, revenue targets, and staff training requirements.
Evaluate and recommend potential new partner relationships.
Monitor partner email inboxes and websites for new partnership opportunities.
Ensure all partner-level commitments and requirements are met annually.
Communication Responsibilities
Actively promote Betis’ partnerships with key OEMs.
Develop marketing and networking strategies to strengthen existing vendor relationships and establish new ones.
Build new business relationships in both the government and commercial sectors.
Provide updates on business development, partner activities, and results during bi-weekly management meetings.
Partner Management Responsibilities
Research Prime Partner contract vehicles to identify Betis participation opportunities (as assigned by the Director or IT Capture Manager).
Stay informed on emerging technologies and hardware trends; determine customer interest and investments in these areas.
Identify and engage with new technology partners.
Manage and renew partnership levels and reselling agreements with OEMs and distributors.
Report year-to-date sales performance for OEMs with revenue-based partner requirements.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
Relevant experience in partner management, business development, or project management preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and project management methodologies.
Ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
Familiarity with Microsoft, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, AWS, and/or Google services. Certifications are a plus but not required.
Location & Travel
This position is remotely based in our McLean, VA office.
Limited travel could be expected to local Washington, DC metro offices (1–3 trips per month, approx. 15%).
