We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in IT Asset Management to join our team for an exciting new project. This role will be instrumental in the discovery phase of implementing a new asset management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather and document asset management requirements
- Map existing asset management processes and create detailed process flow diagrams
- Document pain points and challenges in the current asset management workflow
- Create stakeholder interview templates for requirements gathering
- Define and document reporting requirements for asset management
- Compile findings into comprehensive requirements documentation
- Document technical and integration requirements in collaboration with the Solution Architect
- Develop and document KPI measurement frameworks
- Assist in the development of a phased implementation plan
- Support communication and collaboration with the client
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of business analysis experience, with at least 1 year focused on asset management processes
- Strong understanding of IT asset management best practices and processes
- Experience with ServiceNow platform or similar ITSM/ITAM tools
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (Draw.io, Microsoft Visio, Miro)
- Experience in requirements gathering methodologies (JAD, Use Case Analysis)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience conducting workshops and interviews with various levels of stakeholders
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications
- Knowledge of CMDB configurations and asset discovery processes
- Experience with NIST, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of integration points between asset management systems and procurement platforms
