- Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of residents by providing, directing, and/or overseeing a strong Speech Language Pathology, SLP therapy program.
- Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will build a program to prevent, assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat any disorders that the resident has been diagnosed with that effect speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
- Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will provide training and educate the resident and their loved ones on the programs
- Speech Language Pathologist, SLP will Provide quality patient care including screening and evaluation of patients, development of initial and ongoing treatment plans of care, discharge plan, and case management responsibilities.
- Must hold appropriate professional license in NY in good standing
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding SLP therapy
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/Nursing Home Experience Required
- An SLP/CCC or SLP/CFY (Required)
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, & compassionate care
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring & enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & optimal resident health
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, & sometimes challenging residents
- Have excellent communication, customer service, & organization skills
- Able to work well under pressure & willing to work harmoniously with all staff
- Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC
