Our newly revamped facility is under new administration, emphasizing a tranquil and home-like atmosphere where personalized care and recovery are at the forefront of our mission.

Position Summary :

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing in managing and directing the nursing department. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and provide the highest quality of resident care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the Director of Nursing in the planning and organization of the Nursing Department operations.
• Oversee the Education, Infection Prevention, and Wound Management programs within the facility.
• Evaluate and implement effective long-term and sub-acute nursing care strategies.
• Manage nursing staffing to ensure quality care, stepping in as DON-designee when required.
• Orient, instruct, and train nursing staff in best practices and necessary education.
• Assess and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Coordinate Infection Control and Wound Care programs, adhering to facility standards.
• Act as a resource for nurses and staff regarding residents' care needs and interdisciplinary communication.
• Perform emergency response duties as needed, assisting in various nursing capacities.
