Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment that recently underwent a LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION, IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATION! With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being. Our mission is to provide high quality care to all with respect and compassion through a team approach that focuses on personalized goals. The role of the RN Supervisor is to be responsible for the operation of the nursing department and facility as well as organize and maintain staffing guidelines to meet resident needs. Communicates and ensures that policies, procedures, practices, objectives and goals are carried out to attain maximum resident care. Demonstrates administrative / clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice.
- RN Supervisor organizes, oversees, & supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments & demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice
- RN Supervisor will identify & respond, appropriately & timely, to patient needs
- Monitor, observe, & document vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses.
- RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as needed
- Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan / concerns / information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed
- Identify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors' / services
- Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition.
- Lead & direct emergency situations - (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.)
- Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census roster
