What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant 8th Grade Football Coach position at Bettendorf Community School District?
Stipend = $2,051 (2024-25 school year)
BMS coaches must demonstrate an understanding of the full range of physical and social/emotional needs of our middle school student athletes. They should consistently display a personal manner and a professional skill set that would inspire participation and build the confidence and skill necessary for all players to improve as both students and athletes.
8th Grade Assistant Football Coach
Qualifications for this position:
Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.
Must be able to be at Bettendorf Middle School by 3:20 pm to assist with practice.
Responsibilities of this position:
Assist the Head Coach at all practices and team activities.
Monitor the academic progress of your student athletes and adhere to the school’s eligibility guidelines.
Supervise the locker room, when appropriate before and after all practices and games.
Keep track of all equipment issued and help put away at the end of season.
