Job Responsibilities:
The district is seeking a passionate and dedicated coach to lead and mentor student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting skill development, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players.
Stipend: $3,076 (2024-25 school year)
Qualifications for this position:
Must have or be able to obtain an Iowa Coaching license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective practice plans that enhance skill development and teamwork.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes, supporting their academic and personal growth.
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the field/court.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all team members.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and families to support student success.
- Follow all district, state, and league regulations and policies.
- Coordinate game schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.
