Job Tasks: Food Prep
- Clean and organize eating, service and kitchen areas before and after meals
- Store and remove food items from dry storage, coolers and freezers with delivered food items
- Prepare meals for serving using delivered food items or items obtained from storage areas using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures
- Stock serving areas with food items and drinks to prepare for breakfast and/or lunch
- Serve the prepared meals and food items to students and staff
- Put away and label leftover food from lines, clean and sanitize food serving and preparation areas in the kitchen, serving lines and storage areas
- Notify kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders
- Communicate with students and other staff regarding orders, comments and complaints
