We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Lender. Responsibilities
- Assess loan applications by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and business plans to determine eligibility.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential borrowers, including background checks and contract reviews.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored lending solutions.
- Cross sell bank products and services.
- Monitor loan repayment activities and collect delinquent loan payments or secure collateral.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Actively participate in community events and represent the Bank with a high level of integrity.
- Adhere to bank policies and and support management decisions professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends, lending regulations, and market conditions to make informed lending decisions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a loan officer within the banking financial services sector.
- Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.
- Familiarity with financial software tools used in the lending process.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, particularly in contract management and documentation.
- Self driven and motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of lending regulations.
