Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic initiatives for the organization. This role works closely with a cross-functional team of experts in innovation, marketing, and manufacturing. The Project Manager ensures consistent project execution, effective resource allocation, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Essential Functions:
- Manages, plans, and coordinates activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Manage product launch schedules and ensure timelines are being met.
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Develops and maintains cost and capacity models.
- Works frequently with Marketing to launch new products.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Oversee the organization’s project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor project health, risks, and resource utilization, providing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the portfolio management process.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the PMO.
- Build cross-functional relationships and promote effective communication among stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related updates to project stakeholders.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering high-quality project outcomes on time.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management
- Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and programs.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong skills working with multiple personalities while navigating complex situations
- Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
