Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Central Indiana seeks a highly motivated, organized, creative, energetic and passionate team player who assists with the implementation and delivery of planned communication initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication plans that support sales, retention and branding efforts
- Propose and draft communication campaigns, which may include email, social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports
- Develop written and visual content for email, social media, web, and print communication; including graphic design
- Help develop informative assets for print and digital use
- Manage email system including inventory, subscription lists and monitoring/tracking metrics
- Manage and update public documents for business audiences; ensuring links are accurate
- Develop and manage e-newsletter(s)
- Regularly review/update correspondence with businesses
- Integrate relevant content and resources to local news feed, linked within local articles, email campaigns, etc.
- Ensure brand consistency
- Maintain website updates using Adobe Experience Manager
- Participate in relevance team efforts to create, optimize and evolve strategies designed to enhance content, relationships and brand
- Manage administrative work including maintaining accurate records, data quality and correspondence
- Assist with media relations including addressing media inquiries, and developing and distributing press releases
- Assist with the planning, organizing, and executing events. This includes, but is not limited to, development of timelines, logistics and details for successful execution.
- Collaborate with departments to provide requested deliverables
- Meet regularly with supervisor to discuss goals and objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing
- Graphic design experience preferred
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Adobe Experience Manager, MS Office, Sprout Social and social media platforms
- Knowledge of communication and marketing best practices, including social, digital, print and email
- Experience with digital advertising and campaign development
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Exceptional work ethic and initiative
- Takes initiative and accomplishes tasks with limited supervision
- Commitment to character and integrity in both personal and professional life
Hybrid Position - Remote work with some scheduled days in the office.
