Key Requirements:
- Location Requirement: Must be within a reasonable driving distance or willing to relocate at their own expense.
- Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical background, ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics, familiarity with shop equipment, and proficiency with computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related skills.
- Assessment & Interview: Must complete an online assessment test and interview on-site if successful.
- Certification: Successful completion of certification testing is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (2-year technical degree preferred).
- Physical Ability: Must be capable of working safely in an industrial environment and handling physical demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using systematic methods.
- Perform preventive maintenance and overhaul tasks on motors, conveyor systems, and other machinery.
- Test electrical systems for continuity, using testing devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, receptacles, and fixtures.
- Maintain machinery lubrication and recommend improvements based on equipment performance.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and operators.
Safety & Quality:
- Adhere to safety procedures and report incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on maintenance procedures.
- Handle materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
