About the Position-
The GSA Sales Specialist position is responsible for the full cycle, B2B sales process, with a specialized focus on leveraging General Services Administration (GSA) contracts to drive federal sales. This includes prospecting new leads, cold calling potential federal clients, and presenting our products and services to secure deals within the GSA framework. This position is an onsite role at our office located conveniently in Tempe, AZ.

Responsibilities-
· Develop and close new business deals via phone, online collaboration tools, and/or in-person meetings, with a focus on GSA contract vehicles.
· Confidently identify potential opportunities within federal agencies, building and submitting quotes through GSA Advantage! and other federal procurement platforms.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with federal clients by providing exceptional customer service tailored to their procurement needs.
· Identify and generate new business by cross-selling additional products available through GSA schedules.
· Demonstrate superior communication skills to nurture relationships with account holders and manage multiple federal accounts simultaneously.
· Proactively address client issues and concerns, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining active communication with fellow sales specialists for an efficient and seamless workflow.
· Handle executive-level federal accounts with confidence, prioritizing client satisfaction and sales growth within the GSA ecosystem.
· Manage and maintain the velocity of all deals through the sales pipeline, ensuring compliance with GSA regulations and timelines.
· Leverage gathered intelligence, provided outreach tools, and strategic approaches for persistent follow-up to secure appointments and close sales.
· Achieve and exceed yearly quota goals tied to GSA contract performance.
· Maintain a strong understanding of data confidentiality principles, ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and accessible data within the company’s digital database.
Requirements-
· Demonstrated expertise in federal sales, with a focus on GSA contract sales, and a consistent track record of exceeding quotas from existing customers and new business.
· A natural ability to foster positive relationships with federal customers and prospects, particularly within GSA-related procurement processes.
· Proven ability to cold call into a large number of federal accounts to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities through GSA channels.
· Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (MS Office, email, etc.); experience with Microsoft Dynamics and GSA Advantage! is a plus.
· Excellent research skills, particularly in navigating federal procurement databases and identifying GSA opportunities.
· Coachable, reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compensation-
We offer a competitive base salary depending on experience, with unlimited commission potential. Pay is base, depending on experience, plus commission tied to GSA sales performance.
