Grocery Manager

The Grocery Team Leader is accountable for all department operations including sub-departments and teams: Frozen Foods, Bulk, Dairy and other applicable areas. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, supervision, buying and merchandising department products, scheduling and managing financials, controlling inventory, complying with relevant regulations and standards, and completing special projects as assigned. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and driven team member.

• Develop and maintain an attractive and creative store layout
• Establish productive working relationships with others.

• Ability to be able to work a minimum of 1 opening, closing, mid and weekend shift per week.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal skills.
• Maintain a strong level of labeling, product, shelf and sign integrity.
• Available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department and store.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds.
• Push and pull cats weighing up to 100 pounds

• Monday to Friday
• Must be available to work Sundays (to complete orders)

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
