Job Responsibilities

• Assist patients in maintaining their independence by providing support, personal services, and education to families.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, including physical and mental health, intake/output, and exercise routines.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, shopping, meal preparation, and running errands.
• Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Educate patients and families on using assistive devices, personal hygiene techniques, and special equipment.
• Teach family members proper methods for lifting, turning, and repositioning patients.
• Offer advice on nutrition, cleanliness, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
• Enhance the agency’s reputation by going above and beyond in patient care.

• Schedule: Varies by school days
• Shift Options: Day shift, Monday through Friday
• Work Setting: In-person.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a home health setting (required).
• License/Certification: Driver’s License (required); Certified Home Health Aide (preferred).
• Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour.
