The Accounts Payable Clerk manages the company’s accounts payable function, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and promptly. This role involves regular interaction with internal and external parties (vendors), maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting processes. The Accounts Payable Clerk ensures smooth and efficient operations in the payment cycle.
This in-person part-time position is in our Bedford NH office, about 20-24 hours a week. There is some scheduling flexibility to fit around other life commitments.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Handle incoming invoices—systematically organizing, verifying, and processing them for payment.
- Payment Processing: Ensure all payments are made promptly and accurately.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of payments and invoices, ensuring everything is accounted for and can be easily retrieved.
- Vendor Communication: Serve as the company’s ambassador to vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving any discrepancies in billing.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of the accounts payable ledger, ensuring the balance sheet reflects a true record.
- Financial Reporting Support: Assist with financial closing processes, contributing to the broader financial health check-ups and reports.
Pay Rate: Hourly rate based on experience
Requirements:- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and strong data entry skills.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting concepts.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in finance or accounting a plus.
Physical Requirements: Sitting for extended periods of time.
