Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist in managing medications and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Engage in case management practices to coordinate services for clients as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and first aid practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or moving clients as needed.
- Familiarity with systems related to healthcare or case management is beneficial.
