Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer basic health care tasks such as catheter care and monitoring vital signs as needed.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function and daily living skills.
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers regarding client progress and needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home community care or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of caregiving principles, including hygiene practices and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with medical records systems and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Ability to cook healthy meals tailored to client needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may require lifting or assisting clients.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
