Better Living Home Health Care, Inc. is a family owned business. We are looking for a full-time LPN/RN. We have a full-time peds case here in Evansville! Paying top dollar!! No night shifts required! Daytime hours only. Pay based on experience!
The RN in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and agency policies. Also, The LPN/RN Registered Nurse job coordinates total plan of care with other health care professionals involved in care.
NURSE QUALIFICATIONS
- Is a graduate of an approved School of Professional Nursing, BSN preferred
- Is currently licensed as an LPN/RN by the state of Indiana.
- Has at least one year of general nursing experience
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Has satisfactory reference from nursing school, previous (or current) employers, and/or professional peers.
- Have excellent observation, good nursing judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision; have good organizational skills.
- Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
RN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Seeks and obtains sufficient information necessary to function effectively in the health care setting where assigned.
- Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of nursing process.
- Assesses and evaluates client’s status.
- Reviewing and implementing the plan of care.
- Regularly re-evaluating client needs.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Completes, maintains and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding clients’ condition and care given.
- Provides and maintains a safe environment for the client.
- Assists the client’s family/caregiver and other health care personnel in providing continuity of care.
- Performs within the limits of preparation and experience.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and developmental and maintains and upgrades professional knowledge and practice skills through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-service classes.
- Fulfills the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments.

Salary : $34 - $37
