Personal Care Worker
Better Options, LLC is currently hiring Personal Support Attendants. We are a Personal Support Services Agency that is providing care to elderly and persons with disabilities. We are looking for someone who is hardworking and respectful to join our team. If you enjoy caring for others and have a great attitude, you might be a good fit for this role. We offer full and part-time positions that requires flexibility and travel.
Personal Support Attendant Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Executive Director. Duties may include:
· Following client care plans while providing compassionate and respectful care
· Assisting clients with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, cleaning, medication reminders, etc.
· Reporting on client conditions and any behavioral changes
· Completing minor room cleaning and laundry tasks
· Supporting meal preparation, serving, and feeding clients when needed
· Other duties as assigned.
Personal Support Attendant Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Required Background: High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Background: Certified Nursing Assistant
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic computer skills.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2-3 years experience in a similar role
Sensitivity to cultural and racial diversity and the medically needy.
