Inventory Specialist (Field Work)

Full-Time, 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to oversee inventory processes and procedures for our designated program. This role involves managing a high-volume, small-part inventory and ensuring proper organization and tracking of materials used in running and burying fiber for WiFi cable installations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be highly organized, and have a continuous improvement mindset.

This position is based on a contractor site, not a client warehouse. The work environment includes outdoor buildings and small warehouses with dock doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventory used by contractors, including splitters, construction materials, vaults, and markers
• Label and properly store inventory items on-site
• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock verifications
• Unpackage, sort, and stage materials for production
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
• Work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods outdoors

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.65 - $17.97 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
